What drives him most is a simple but firm belief: true healing comes from finding and fixing the root cause, not just quieting symptoms. He combines hands-on therapies, functional movement assessments, innovative soft tissue work, and tailored wellness plans to help patients feel and perform their best.
Outside the clinic, he’s built and led thriving practices, including Total Health Center in Kennett Square and previously Back to Health Chiropractic in Kennett Square. His entrepreneurial spirit has also taken him into fitness businesses—ventures that reflect a lifelong passion for movement and peak physical performance.
On a more personal level, he’s never far from a gym—he loves weight training and lives the active lifestyle he encourages in his patients. Back in college, he played competitive rugby for Palmer (taking his team to the 1995 National Championship Semifinals) and club volleyball at Drexel. At home, he’s a dedicated dad to three kids and shares the home and work management with his lovely wife Dr. Nathalie Matte. One of his favorite ways to recharge is heading to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, for family vacations filled with beach days and quality time together.

Dr. Nathalie Matte, DC
Hi, I'm Dr. Nathalie Matte, a chiropractor with a deep passion for helping people reclaim their health and vitality naturally. For almost 30 years, I've dedicated my career to treating the whole person—not just symptoms—because I truly believe the body has an incredible innate ability to heal when given the right support.
I grew up in the suburbs of Montreal, where I spent much of my youth as a competitive figure skater and later became a coach. That early experience taught me the importance of movement, posture, and resilience—lessons that continue to shape how I care for my patients today.
After graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1996, I opened my first practice in 1999 and have since owned and led several successful clinics, including Back to Health Chiropractic, Olde Ridge Village Chiropractic and currently Total Health Center Kennett Square.
Today, as the owner of Total Health Center in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, I’ve created a welcoming space where personalized, comprehensive care is at the heart of everything we do. My approach combines traditional chiropractic adjustments with advanced functional nutrition, lifestyle guidance, and structural rehabilitation. With specialized training in clinical nutrition (through the Ulan Nutrition Systems Program), muscle testing, posture biomechanics, and wellness certification from the International Chiropractic Association, I focus on uncovering and addressing the root causes of chronic health challenges. Whether it’s supporting detoxification, improving spinal alignment, optimizing nutrition, or enhancing functional movement, my goal is to empower you with practical tools and knowledge to thrive long-term.
Outside the office, I love staying active—skiing, working out, and spending quality time with my family. I’m a proud mom of three wonderful children, and we especially enjoy unwinding together on vacations to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
If you’re ready to move beyond managing symptoms and toward true, lasting wellness, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on that journey. Welcome to Total Health Center—I look forward to meeting you!
